The outdoors is a rocky and desolate place of fierce winds that make it hard to see, and inside the Atmospheric Processor Stations, there are tunnels every where leading to and from the nests. The planet where the Aliens were discovered by Ripley, this is the most dangerous place of them all. LV-426 is in the darkest area of the Solar System. Who ever controls this area, can demolish any civilization with the push of a button.
